While travelling to your next destination, Edfu, enjoy another breakfast on board. When you get there, go to the Edfu Temple to see the two exquisite granite statues of the falcon god Horus that stand guard over the entrance.

Travel through the rural, leisurely pace of the neighbourhood farmers and fishers. You will set out on the open sea once more after returning to your dahabiya. As you have lunch and go to your next destination, take in the stunning verdant, fertile landscapes filled with banana and date palm trees.

When you get to Bassawa Island, go outside and stroll among the charming locals. You will actually have the opportunity to interact with a local family and spend time in their house, where you will be introduced to the real way of life of these people. You are welcome to visit their farm, talk to the kids, and spend the day acting like a real Egyptian.
